Day in the Life of a Distributor
Conrad Kirk owns and manages a business named Evolution Distribution. Evolution distributes anything on paper (predominantly leaflets, booklets, papers and tabloids) to a targeted demographic which is determined through thorough research and data analysis. The businesses’ clientele range from small traders wishing to advertise themselves to their town’s inhabitants to corporate dominoes, one example of this would be B&Q. In essence, if you own a business, you can benefit from the effort of print marketing.
Furthermore, Evolution utilises 24 trackers in all, which are provided to the distributors and reports updates every 5 seconds. This is live and visible for the clients. The use of this complex system allows Conrad to record the movements of his distributors into the businesses’ system and produces a tracking map of all locations that have been visited and live chat with the distributors to ensure not one house is missed. Additionally, data logs are collected of addresses, speed of distributions and the locations stopped.
Evolution’s staff members range from 24 distributors that each walk 16 miles a day! John, Evolution’s Planning and distribution manager handles the planning of all jobs that are received and the guidance of the business. With the right team, Evolution works hand in hand with clients to ensure every one of the customer’s needs are met. They handle areas all over Derbyshire and the north east coast and are able to handle any number of goods.
